How Are Prescription Drugs So Abused if Ppl Dont Have a Legitimate Prescription?
Question by rtinsley30: How are prescription drugs so abused if ppl dont have a legitimate prescription?
I am inquiring for a paper I am writing for College Composition, on Drugs in Juvenile Justice. It shocked me that prescriptions are more abused than any other drug besides marijuana. However Marijuana hasnt caused any documented deaths, and kids are oversoding on medication. I realize millions of kids are prescribed meds for ADD, and ADHD, but I am curious about the ones who arent? Where do they get them from? Street prices are expensive, so are they stealing from their parents? Thanks for any suggestions, plz answer my other question if you can, I appreciate, and I am not looking for drugs, lol. Thanks
Why Drug Addiction Is So Huge in Ireland?
Question by YaroElf: Why Drug Addiction Is So Huge In Ireland?
Just simple curiosity…
I stumbled upon an article from some Irish website that claimed that in 2011 80% of
Irish drink beer daily or once in two days. An average pub crawl night for an Irish is 3L of beer or more.
Also it claimed that 50% of Northern Irish teens between ages 12-21 use illegal drugs daily
and consume 5+ beers each Friday.
What source did this information could be coming from? Is that even true?

Question by The Space Kitth: Why shouldn’t child molesters/abusers be held responsible for the multiple generations of acting out?
Lets say I start a brush fire because I like to watch things burn. All I INTENDED to burn was the field of brush… But the fire spreads and kills a family… I’m liable for the fire, the property damage, and the death of the family…
One man molests his son, his nephew, his niece, the granddaughter, his cousin’s son… And a couple of neighbors kids…

How Do You Get Someone Free Help, Like Drug Rehab, When They Cannot Help Themselves?
Question by Nina: how do you get someone free help, like drug rehab, when they cannot help themselves?
my brother is addicted to drugs and he calls us me and my other brothers and sisters and ask for money, we know it is for the drugs but he says the dealers know where he lives and if he does not pay, than they will hurt him and our family, but if we give him the money he might just buy more drugs, he is in his late 30s, and he feels his life is worthless, filled with failures, he did get his ged, he started hanging out with the wrong crowd as a teenager and I guess he never grew up, he is older than most of my siblings and we constantly worry about him, I worry that he might wind up dead one day, and the worst part is that he does not care if he gets hurt or not, we tell him that he is hurting us and our parents too but he always find a way to get back into trouble, drugs, alcohol, fights, how do I help him?
