Why Is Alcohol Legal but Most Drugs Aren’t?
Question by Random: Why is alcohol legal but most drugs aren’t?
I personally enjoy marijuana and MDMA on occasion. I have not tried any other drugs, so I am only going to talk about these two since I know the most about them. Here are some facts.
Alcohol is physically addictive and frequent and excessive drinking can create a physical dependency. Marijuana and MDMA are not addictive and no physical dependency is possible.
Alcohol abuse makes people violent and can lead to abuse, rape, etc. Marijuana users like to sit at home, watch movies, and eat snacks (not harmful to anyone!). MDMA users like to dance a lot and hug inanimate objects (also not harmful to anyone!)

Please Help – Drugs Are Going to Kill My Best Friend?
Question by k: Please help – drugs are going to kill my best friend?
I have a friend who is severely addicted to hard drugs. The last phone call I got from her was her crying because she woke up in a bathtub full of ice cubes because she stopped breathing from a heroin overdose. This was my best friend since I was a child and she moved away in 8th grade but we still remain close after all these years. I do not know what to do, I would not be surprised if the next call I got was one informing me of her death. I am in college in PA and she lives about five hours away in VA. What can I do to help her?

What Do Drug Rehab Inpatient Centers Cost?
Question by MzLeen: What do drug rehab inpatient centers cost?
I have a loved one that needs rehab in the worst way. They need inpatient care. but there is no insurance and not much money. I am trying to get a typical cost for these places. I have tried to do some quick research online and they don’t give a cost, they just want me to call them.
So if anyone has any helpful information they could give me or advice I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!

well i believe the number one consequence of teens being on drugs and getting high is DEATH. That is certainly a problem if you plan on actually living past your second decade. Drug abuse kills plain and simple. Even if it doesn’t kill you right away, it kills your brain cells, your plans for a happy life, your relationship with other people, since drugs are your best friend, how do you think you are going to relate to real people?
