Unsure About Undercover Cop?

Question by Salizler: Unsure about undercover cop?
I’m going to try to be as detailed as possible.
Around 5pm today my family and I went out to the pool, we have a variety of resident cops in our condos, and every once in a while they come in to use the bathroom. Cops in Jacksonville usually wear black uniforms, but my boyfriend noticed this guy was in dark green with other normal cop apparel (radio guns etc).
Later I went to take the dog on a run and this cop drives up in a truck, asking me if I’ve seen anything suspicious. Him and another undercover cop have been and are going to keep scoping out the place for suspicious activity.( I don’t remember exactly what he said but this is FL so there are drugs everywhere and there is always undercover work going on.)
He said he needed to jot down my name to put in his report/notes. And he needed my condo number. Well, I know giving false info to the police will get you in trouble, so I gave him my real info. Then when he was driving away, I saw he had Georgia plates (we’re about 40 miles from GA).
He told me the other undercover cop was in a red car (and tonight there is a red car driving around with GA plates).
He looked mostly professional, and the truck and red car were nicer looking. It just seems weird that he told me they were undercover. Now he’s at the end of the lane with his headlights on. And I feel stupid for giving him my name.
I’m not doing anything illegal either, so I’m really just worried that he’s a fake cop. Or he was one that got laid off and is doing weird stuff, or even some real cops around here are crooked

A Journey Home: One Marine’s Story

A Journey Home: One Marine’s Story – Nearly one in five veterans suffer from substance abuse and PTSD. Veterans Healing Initiative, a nonprofit, is dedicated to providing veterans of all eras access to treatment for substance abuse and PTSD. The facts: 18 veterans commit suicide every day. On any given night, 300000 veterans are homeless and more than 76% of these vets suffer from substance abuse or a mental health disorder. As many as 35% of wounded troops are addicted to pain medication. Reserve and National Guard don’t have access to the full range of VA benefits. Vets from Iraq and Afghanistan face multiple deployments and shorter breaks between deployments–for these vets, the clock’s ticking. See one Marine’s journey home. Thousands more waiting for treatment. Help us help them at Veterans Healing Initiative, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. To learn more or to donate, click www.vetshealing.org. Thank you.

People in Jacksonville, NC, PLEASE HELP ME ASAP! Have Your Children Been to Gilliam Dentistry? Sedatives, Etc.?

Question by : People in Jacksonville, NC, PLEASE HELP ME ASAP! Have your children been to Gilliam dentistry? Sedatives, etc.?
My two year old has to have “sleepy juice” and Nitrus Oxide on the 27th so that they can fix two teeth. They will not allow anyone in the room when performing the proceedure, and I am frightened of the “sleepy Juice”. If you don’t know what that is, it is a mixture of 3 sedatives used to make a child less active and sleepy, and to make him not remember. I am reminded vaguely of the date rape drug when they tell me this… Have your children been to this dentist? Any good? Trustworthy? No reviews online. 🙁 I am terrified something might happen to my child… and why are they so afraid to have a superviser in the room? My child is going to be under “happy gas” as it was called when I was young, and SEDATIVES, three of them. I don’t even give my kid benadryl… now THREE sedatives? And I can’t be there to make sure they watch the guages and make sure his oxygen is ok? And they say I have to watch him every second for the first 8 hours after surgery…. and “maintain his airway”. WTF???
