How Large Is the HIV Problem in the US Gay Community?

Question by hkwonn: How large is the HIV problem in the US gay community?
I heard that some people are HIV positive but it is mostly common among illegal drug abuse. What are the best ways to prevent and stop HIV in the US gay male community short of a future miracle cure/prevention (that of course gets its creator a Nobel prize)?

That will get it’s creator more then a nobel prize, And it’d probably be a team of people, They’d deserve the world that they saved >_>.. ANYWAY.

Not being stupid will get you pretty far, When having sex protect yourself as best as possible, If you really find yourself requiring a needle for anything, DON’T share.

Note: Not all gay or bi people have STD’s, Aids or otherwise.
