My parents were addicts. I stated drinking at 14 pot at 10 coke/crack at 16 heroin at 22. I have been in recovery 3 years. My question is how many people are addicts who came from homes of addicts? i do belive my parents being addicts had a zillion terrible effects on my choices to use. LOOKING FOR THOUGHT ON children of drug/drink addicts. How it changed your life.

if ur so mad about doin drugs then quit son…..personally i like to smoke crack…makes ur brain feel SILLY!

How can you replace doing a 3 bag shot of semidescent heroin? How can you replace living every day as if it were your last? How can I live in the moment, yet plan for the future? How can I live in the moment, and live like a normal person? How can I quit a 100$ 14 bag-a-day habit and what will I do with my time and money afterwards? How can never feel alone again without knowing that heroin is there to be my companion? How can I solve all my problems and quiet my mind which travels a million miles a minute, in just one second, without shooting a liquid substance into my tired veins? Why would I want to stop something that feels so good, when I have nothing else to turn to? Everyone lives their lives getting off on something everyday, looking forward to something, perpetually masterbating their minds, why not have that something be the most pleasurable feeling? How can I be satisfied with experience anything else when I know that nothing can compare to the feeling of a 3 bag shot? HELP!
