How can I convince my parents to let me go to Florida without them?
My friend invited me to go up to Florida with her this summer, her dad lives there sometimes and they are all going.
We won’t be flying by ourselves because her dad & step mom will be coming (along with her sister & step-sister.)
So, I will have a place to stay and we can use air miles for the plane ride.
The only thing is, my parents don’t really like my friends dad’s past, because he got into drugs/drinking/smoking.
He has been alcohol free for a year now, and quit smoking.
He’s going to a christian rehab so he will stop the drugs as well, also, since he’s at a christian rehab center he has become a christian and now goes to church every sunday.
So, i need some good ideas of things i can say to make them let me go.

tell them how excited u were to go and the things you were planning on to do so if they say no satart to cry and put a guilt trip on them or you could get mor info and make them feel like you’ll be safe and tell them how would they feel or something like that. p.s i am in the same exact situation my mom doesnt want me to do to florida because she doesnt want anything to happen to me but i’ll be with my aunt and i finally convinced her with that stuff i showed you up there to let me go:) 🙂 🙂 Hope that helps and good luck
