Am I Off Probation, and How Do I Know So?
Question by Mr.Euphoria: Am I off probation, and how do I know so?
I was put on probation for a felony theft charge and a marijuana misdemeanor charge. I wasn’t put on a probation with a date of termination. The only requirement is 50 hours, an apology letter, drug tests, and a Paper on consequences of crime. I’ve completed all the requirements. I just finished all my hours yesterday and my PO has told me in the past that I’ll be off as soon as I finish my requirements. So my mother emailed her my hours and I’m more than likely going to get a reply tomorrow. She told me a few days ago that she’ll email it right to the judge the second she receives everything. So my main question is…how long will it take for me to be out of the system. And will I receive another DT before I get off? I know usually there is a final DT before termination but I don’t know if That applies to me as I have been on for over 3 months and only received 2 drug tests. And plus they are done 45 minutes away at a rehab facility and I doubt my probation officer wants to pay another $ 30 if I’m off probation. And please, I’d like a properly educated person with the knowledge of Cannabis to answer as I don’t feel like being criticized about a plant that they know nothing about. Thanks in advance. I live in Jacksonville, Florida.
