Will I Qualify for WI Assistance Programs if I Am Doing Outpatient Drug Treatment?

Question by *Astrid*: Will I qualify for WI Assistance Programs if I am doing outpatient drug treatment?
I used to work as a fulltime graphic designer, my hours have been reduced to half of what they were. I was told I may qualify for the Wisconsin FoodShare program and energy/heat assistance.

I went online to their website and filled out a partial survey which according to my income and other factors, I did qualify for food and energy/heat assistance. When I went to fill out the actual application, one qustion asked on this app was, “Are you being treated in a drug program?”

Take a Side on the Following Commentary Regarding Illegal Drug Use. Do You Agree or Not?

Question by juni: Take a side on the following commentary regarding illegal drug use. Do you agree or not?
case has been made that drug use in itself is not the problem – that the real problem is an economic and social one and that drug abuse is only a symptom of underlying conditions such as unemployment, racial inequality, and the erosion of family values. This argument states that drug abuse will diminish when these problems are solved. Is this a valid argument?

Comment on at least three other students’ responses; demonstrate how you can make this issue a little clearer from various sides.

What Are Some Ways That People Broke Drug Addictions Historically?

Question by Flower Player: what are some ways that people broke drug addictions historically?
I am doing a report but after tons and tons of research, I CANNOT FIND HISTORICAL DIAGNOSES FOR DRUGS, I am looking for ways that have been put out of practice, for example, one historical treatment for illness was “leeching” putting a leech on somebody, and letting them drink out all of the “bad blood”. Once again, I am looking for discontinued practices for breaking drug abuse.
