What Are the Differences Between Drug Abuse and Drug Misuse?
Question by SweetAngel: What are the differences between drug abuse and drug misuse?
My opinion is that drug abuse is taking prescribed medication constantly, being addicted to the medication. Drug misuse i think is having prescribed medication and taking in ways that your not supposed to and taking more than the prescription says to take. I also think that one leads to the other.

Drug abuse is knowingly taking drugs that are in no way helping you and possibly not even prescribed to you.
Drug misuse is mistakenly taking a drug that is prescribed to you the wrong way. (Like you said, taking more that the prescription says) And also taking them without eating.
