Why Would a Teenagers Drug Test Have Positive Results for Creatine?

Question by babygurl: Why would a teenagers drug test have positive results for creatine?
a friend suspected drug abuse with his teenage son (age 15), when tested yesterday (after almost fainting at school with chest pains and other symtoms), the doctor told my friend the only positive result was for creatine. the teenager is not a body builder nor would he have any reason to take creatine, nor does his father know how he got a hold of it. i suspect that this teenager is abusing a legal drug and is using the creatine to enhance it’s effects. any ideas? am i on the right track?

What Are Some Diseases Brought by Drug Abuse?

Question by lela1997: What are some diseases brought by drug abuse?
I’m doing an essay about why drug abuse is so bad, so how do drugs impact us, and what are some diseases brought by drug abuse?

Best answer:

Answer by Barry
Hepatitis C is usually brought about by drug addiction, though not always. Drug rehabs in California might have more information about such things. I’d recommend seeking out pamphlets on whatever drugs you are researching. Most 12-step meetings have them for very cheap and they detail the negative effects of drug abuse.

Do some research. The consequences of drug abuse are endless.

What Type of Qualifications Do I Need to Work at an Addiction Rehab Centre?

Question by Kait 😀: What type of qualifications do I need to work at an addiction rehab centre?
I’m currently in the process of getting my BA-H in Psychology. I want to be a counselor in an addiction center. Not the person dealing with any medicine/ drug withdrawl or biological issues, more on the psychotherapy end of the spectrum. Finding out what happened, why it happened and how to help them get better.

Do I need to become a psychologists (PhD) Or can I do this with a master in clinical psych/ counseling psych, Master of Social Work?
